Fender tubes
Just out of curiosity, can anyone tell me who made the Fender-branded 7025 tubes that were in my '83 Princeton II? I'm guessing they're Sovtek, but what do I know?

I dunno, there were still a few plants making tubes here in the US in the early 80s, and I've never (to my knowledge, and I haven't seen too many, but...) seen a Sovtek that didn't say Sovtek on it somewhere...shoot, my HRDx came with triple-labelled tubes: Sovtek/Groove Tubes/ Fender.
RCA, maybe, was making 12AX7/7025s in Owensboro, KY until the plant closed '86-ish. Of course, if they're not the original tubes, but more recent OEM replacements, then, yeah, I'd be inclined to assume Sovtek.

Well, they're the original tubes from the amp. I was just doing some tube-swapping, and got curious. I'll post some pics later.
