whats the difference...

Ho...between a series and parallel loop?...other then the obvious....brief primer anyone?...later, spyder

Assuming you mean FX loop, Parallel means there's a mix control on the amp to control the wet/dry mix(the dry signal stays in the amp). In a serial-loop all of the signal is bypassed to the FX loop. Whatever is connected may have it's own mix control.

Ho...thanks for the reply man..this amp I have has trim pots for send and return...adjusting them up or down affects the entire signal...shouldn't a parallel loop only affect the wet signal??....anyway, I like the sound of the parallel loop...my delay is digital ...seems like the overall sound is a little warmer using the parallel loop compared to the series thing ( the amp has both)...also, when using the parallel loop, should the effect unit level be maxed??...seems like I heard that somewhere...thanks, later, spyder
