Ok! Put my 52 tweed pro on test setup. Techy ???

Techy ??? 52 wide panel tweed pro This is supposed to be a 25-35watt amp I set up my test setup: 1khz@80mvp-p input 8ohm 100watt load Tubes are cathode biased. With my bais probe I get about 58mv, so that's 58ma. On my output, the signal doesn't distort till I get to about 22-23 volts on the output. So do the math. That's almost 60watts. Or am I missing something. Also the output tranny is not original! Any ideas! __________________ Play'n tele till I drop! *************** Bryan Hibler
