Very nice job! I'll bet it sounds as good as it looks too.

what you might consider is having tweedeluxe (tom seward) rebuild that pro jr into an 18 w clone as he did mine-whole different amp-PTP, much better sound even clearly noticable with the original crappy little brown Fender ceramic 10"-HOWEVER run through a 2x12 its incredible-it so good i dont even think about my 5E3 for rock -best 200 i ever spent(the cab will run you extra but when its all done youll have a really nice 18 watt with big kahonies

Well I just paid for my 18watt head last night. I hope it sounds as good as I think. I was kind of looking at the Allen amp too. It actually has a bit more included like the cocered cab & speaker if you go combo + reverb. But I have played deluxe revebs for so long I wanted something different. I think this EL84 amp will do it ...I hope ;-) Hey how do you like the tone of yours? I have heard some clips from others but most were with humbucker buitars & driven. That is cool but I also want the claen shiny sounds. Thanks, Mike |

Flying the amp sounds good clean with single coils you can turn it up to 50 to 60 percent volume and get good clean and that is loud enough to gig with like that with a pedal for crunch.....
pc Thanks the tele was fun to make, warmoth body and neck......Love the look of Wood........
