fender vibrolux speakers
i use a fender vibrolux 2x10 combo with jensen speakers... anyone here try or hear any other brand/model speakers in the same amp?
or maybe a mod to make it more versatile, or both? it has great twang now, and it has a flight case, so for my rock stuff it'd be easier to carry around than my bassman and marshall cab. thanks for any suggestions. |

Hi, I have tried (2)Jensen Reissue C10Q's,
(2)Weber C10N's, One of each, a Weber C10NT with a Weber C10N, the Weber C10NT with a Jensen C10Q. The original speakers are Celsetion/Rola's. The problem for me is how loud the Vibrolux is with any of the Webers. If I could play louder they would be superb. For gigging I prefer the Jensen re-issue C10Q's of those I've tried. |

I've used:
Oxford 10L5-3's (original to the amp) Weber 10A125's 30 watt (P10Q) Weber 10F150T's 50 watt (C10NT) Of the above, both sets of the Webers sound killer. I have a hard time deciding which pair to leave in. |

I've heard 2 Weber C10N (50W), 2 70's Music Man alnicos, and 2 Weber P10Q (30W) in the one I currently have. I also had one a few years ago with two original Oxfords.
I like the 2 Weber P10Q's the best by far. They work great for me from clean to scream with a Tele. |
