Substitute EL-82 w/ EL-84?

Old Epi Pacemaker. Single EL-82 power tube.
Can I just swap 'em out?

It looks like the pin out is the same, The EL84 can take a bit more voltage, Try is and see what happens. You may need to change the cathode resistor
