EV Force 12

Hi,

Any opinions on the EV Force 12 as a guitar speaker?

I have two kicking around that were in some homebrew monitors that I aquired.

I like 'em. Punchy lows, even mids and a nicely rolled off top.

I had a pair in a silverface Twin Reverb ages ago. They were good for big clean sounds -- a decent match to that amp. I wouldn't look to get a lot of speaker breakup from them.

I had that amp before I started paying close attention to this stuff, so I can't say much more than that.

I've got a nice 12" 8-ohm EV Force here that I'm not using. I'll sell it for $80 + domestic shipping.

EV Force 10, one of my favorite speakers all-time. Clean and punchy, incredible power handling capability..... just like the 12, I'm sure.
