Peavey Standard 260 PA head...questions!

I recently was given one of these to mess around with from our drummer at church. For anyone with some knowledge of these heads, here's a couple questions:

1.) It has two speaker outs labeled 4 ohms. Is that for each output? Can I just plug it into one 4 ohm cab or does it need to have two 4 ohm loads?

2.) I have a 16 ohm 1 x 12 cab. If I plug it into this head, will I do any damage to the head (it's solid state) or the speaker?

3.) Anyone used one of these for guitar? I need a lot of clean headroom for worship music and I use a Digitech RP250 for modeling and effects.

If this thing works out, I may buy it from the drummer and keep it. Thanks in advance for any advice or help.

I can't answer your questions directly, but a great place to start will be to download the manual. Go to www.peavey.com , click on Support, manuals, and search by the name of the piece. They've got most manuals in their database.
