amp value?

Hi there,

it looks like I posted this in the wrong part of the forum- so I am posting it here now...

I just got a new amp- for practice and recording from my local guitar tech- it is a 1956 tweed fender champ!
What would a good price for this amp be, it has new tubes and caps, but otherwise original.
I think I got it for a song- but am thrilled.

Graham Stuart
I will try and post some photos in the next day or so.
Any thoughts on a good reverb to use with hit, I have a line 6 verbzilla and on the spring reverbs it sounds heavenly with my tele and my gretsch duojet

Holy Crow
I just paid the equivalent of $470 USD
for my 1956 champ- I knew it was a good deal- with the new caps and the new tubes, it has the original speaker and all original wiring...
AMAzing.

Valvetrain make a handwired all valve stand alone tweed reverb unit called the "SpringThing".Bit expensive but built to last and they do tweed to various degree

Gotcha covered. Man, that is one sweet amp. I would have jumped on it too.

Thanks for posting the photos and the info on the valve train- though it looks out of my price range- i guess I'm stuck with the verbzilla for a while.
