Valve Junior Transformer Replacement?

I blew the transformer in my Epiphone Valve Junior Head (Version 3). I want to replace the transformer, but am wondering if an upgrade is possible without spending the $300 on a Mercury Magnetics set.

I've found this transformer, http://store.triodestore.com/tf65wscta48opaper.html , and am wondering if it would do the trick. I need a transformer with three outputs (4, 8, and 16 ohms), and as this states it is for an amp "...less than 25W...", can I use this transformer in my amp? I'd hate to blow it up again!

Any other recommendations for a good transformer for a VJ on a budget?

Can you purchase just the out tranny from MM's? Probably still not worth the money though. We bought a Hammond from Angela, and they are quite an improvement. Your link looks promising also. There is a power rating increase with those Hammond's. I am sure it is spelled out in the specs. Enjoy your new iron.
Good Luck

Different power handling capabilities.

Click on "more" button.

B is 5watt
C is 8 watt
D is 10watt

I'd go for C or D
D will get you better bottom end

SO if the bigger is better, why not choose E or F?

Put a 125ese in mine, better low end, probably a touch more headroom, not much $ between them, I say go for it.
