Now what?

So I have my Blues Jr chugging along just fine and I go to through the reverb on and........... no reverb. It was working a week ago? What the heck?

OK what can it be ? I note that when I unplug the two wires that going into the reverb unit they both make a loud buzz when shorted to the chassis but that's all I've done.

If it's not one thing it's another.

Suggestions?

Gary

Ummmm.

...I not really one to tell anyone about amps given I basically know nothing but I'm pretty sure the reverb in the BJ is solid state thus meaning it doesn't have a tube. So you can count that one out.

All kidding aside, haven't you been posting about other problems that you've been having with that amp? Maybe you just got a lemon. I'm a happy owner of a BJ, it's still stock except for a tube change and I love it. Guess I got lucky.

Here's my guess. http://billmaudio.com/wp/?page_id=46

You could also just order a Ruby Reverb tank for it for $30 and be done with it.

Why Yes I have reported problems with that amp but then again I bought it used @ $250 and in the last year have used it to gig constantly so all that bouncing around has given it some issues. Youknow it's kinda like the roof on your house. One day while you are mowing the lawn you notice one shingle flipping up................... It's never one shingle it's always the begining of something more.

Thanks for the Bill Mod spot I will check it out when I buy an ohm meter
