Eminence GB 128 Opinions
Who here uses them? What are your likes/dislikes about them?

A pretty good summation I would say. We have used them in everything from 1x12 combo amps to 4x12 speaker cabs. The 16 ohm is difficult/impossible to find. They are a great upgrade for the Peavey C30. With that said, I think the Red Coat Private Jack is a good compromise, and easier to come by. What is your interest in a GB-12? |

Yeah, I give away everything I don't like. That's why I don't buy anything I don't like! lol
Those will light that Pig up.....or maybe he had ragged them out and they are dragging or not working. I don't like speakers that don't work, either. Good luck with them. |

Bluesbend, nothing can defeat the power of positive thinking. Those magnets will hold the family portrait, I would think. Good luck with them....if they are in working condition, you are a fortunate fellow.

An update to yesterdays post. I've found out that the speakers I scored are not Legends, but the stock Blue Marvels that the guy swapped out of his Classic 50 combo. Still, they gotta sound better than what's in the Piggy.
