Help Identifying/Dating speaker
I have 2 speakers I'm trying to identify. I think I know what one of them is but not sure about the other one.
First one is a 12" ceramic. Printed on the magnet is S-20009 & 137 612. Printed on the back of the dome is 1229-2. I believe this one is a CTS from 12th week of 1966 from what I could find online. It is in a 1966 Ampeg Reverberocket 2, which would make since if it's the original speaker, just wasn't sure if it was or not. Second one I've had no luck finding. It' in a 1965 BF Princeton and is not the original speaker. It's a ceramic with an aluminum dust cap. Nothing is printed on the back of the dome but on the magnet is printed 31-1020-W, 8ohm 10W, Japan, 250-201, 0734a. Any help is much appreciated, thanks.

The second one appears to be only 10 watts ("10w") You should probably not use it in there. If it blows, bad things could happen to the amp.

yeah, that's what I was thinking too & thought it was weird that the guy I got it from even had it in there. it sounds good but I'm not using it in there. It's probably an old car stereo speaker or something I'm guessing.
