Carvin "Mid Life Crisis" Cabinet (for Blues Junior)

I'm turning 45 soon. I've been craving a larger cabinet for my Blues Junior - I just want to move a bit more air I guess. I had bought an Epi cab that was the wrong ohm load. I just bought this Carvin 8 ohm cab on ebay. It's Minty. I'm just bypassing the speaker in the BJ.

The cab has the Carvin British speakers just like the ones in the SX200 combo that I had a few years ago. It's a nice cab. They're $219 new...much cheaper on ebay.

I was playing some slightly crunch blues and rock and roll this evening. Sounds pretty good.

I'm now middle aged but I have a bigger speaker cabinet.

A bigger speaker cabinet is cheaper than a red sports car and safer than an affair.

Rock and Roll.

John

Ha! I tell my wife, rather than chase new women, I just need a new guitar or amp once in a while, then I'm happy. She pretty much buys into the idea. Fidelity is a wonderful thing!

I ski instruct kids during winter....the mask was part of my outfit on instructor fun-day. I went skiing in that thing for a whole day.

My beloved wife painted that for me when we were dating 20 years ago.

I married a crazy Irish woman who paints crazy paintings. I love her dearly.

She's a Mac guru. Commercial artist. Dabbles in painting.
