Jensen Speaker Code - Huh ?
Finally pulled the speaker from my 50's Harmony H-194 and can't make head nor tail of the speaker code.
It's a silver Jensen P 10S. Says "Alnico 5 PM Speaker Standard Series" on the bell. The code is : ST 120 P10S C 47772 Isn't there supposed to be a "220" in there somewhere ? Oh - speaker's not original to that little beast either (thing has two 6J5 pre-amp tubes). |

Strange! I did some googling, and apparently, "if the manufacturer's name is clearly visible, then their EIA manufacturer's number doesn't need to appear", which makes sense, but I'd never heard it before. I've never owned a Jensen without 220 on it somewhere, but yours looks older than any I've had...
Also, is that a partial number under the speaker terminals? Perhaps someone was cleaning it with something strong and wiped it off by mistake?
