Princeton Reverb and a Blues Jr. together?

I have a PRRI already and I have a chance at a sightly used Blues Jr. at a good price. The only reason I'd get the Jr. is maybe to run both at the same time. Has anyone tried this OR what do you think of the idea?

Depends on your need for the extra power, I guess. Personally, I'd rather spend the dough and buy an extension cab for the PRRI.

Say, a 1x15 with either a JBL, EV, Weber California or Weber Michigan...... Try that on fer size.

I had a SFPR that I used to run with a 1x15 Electrovoice 15L extension cab. You get the warmth and sparkle of the Princeton with extra low-end girth. IT GUD

I have a PRRI and a Blues Junior with C12N in it and run them together some times recording them onto two separate channels. Sounds pretty good to me. I have thought of playing a couple of shows with the 2 of them together for a fuller sound.

Never played thru a PR, but have run 2 Bjrs in a stereo set up. Makes for a "bigger" sound (more full). Maybe run an A/B/Y and set one for clean and one for distortion? I love the way a BJr sounds overdriven! Just a thought...

i've been runnin' a '63 Princeton in stereo with a B-Jr(rewired P2P) for quite some time....i'm not currently gigging, but when i was, i kept one near me and put the other on the other side of the bass drum...
it's a delicious spread, and simultaneously helps keep the stage vol levels down while being enough for everyone to hear clearly....

Try it, i think you'll like it

If it's rewired P2P (you mean eyelet board, right?) it's not a Blues Junior anymore. If you went with S2, which replacement board did you choose?
