one of these victoria amps just turned up for $1200...... It's in Great shape, no real wear or tears. it was made in 2001. it has the "jensen" speakers (p10R)
what do you think? I am able to buy it, I just want a good deal. any one have good/bad experience with these victoria amps? any and all views would be great.

I have heard by many that the new "Reissue" jensens fall very short of the older speakers. the cool thing is .. I have two Weber A100's (p10r) laying around. I have also been told a weber A125 (Q) is great for this amp. I may end up trying to get a little extra "speaker headroom" and use the A125 or A150? my webers (A100) just Crunch so fast. But I'll give them a try along with the Reissue Jensens, If I buy this amp.

Does the price look right?

By all means go for it, that is a great deal on one of the
very best Amplifiers around PERIOD.
Do you play Blues ?
If you do, you've got one of the best circuits in history.

Oh man, a Vicky Bandmaster with Ted's Qs would be badass. Fantastic blues machine for the clubs. No pedals required.

I really paid $1,150 for it... Shipping will be about $50.00? I'm into 50's style music (Rockabilly, blues etc).... so this amp should nail it.
I called up the current owner(before purchase)... This amp is 100% perfect working order.... AND 100% ORIGINAL. He did just retube the amp (with tubes he received from Mark, at Victoria)

I have a good amount of experience with Black and Brown face Fender's ( My amp now is a "Brownface" Band-Master) my amp before that was a "Blackface" band-master. so this tweed will be a whole new direction.
