I have a SF Champ and a L'il Dawg Champster with a 12 inch speaker. I'd love to have a lot more choices, but those two are pretty good. And my Allen Accomplice I don't consider small, but it functions very nicely at low volumes as well.

When it comes to great tone, I love my VOX Ac-15 w/ an English Greenback plugged into my Avatar 212 that is loaded with one Vintage 30 and one V12H.
But when it comes to fun and versatility with a pretty good tone to boot (albeit lacking the low end) I have hardly turned off my new Vibro Champ XD. For $200 new it is a cool little 5 watter with lots of versatility. I have ordered a Weber F10150 for it because it will accommodate a 10" speaker. But even stock it sounds pretty darn good.
Here is a link to my Photobucket album where you will find a demo video of the Vibro Champ XD that I created the other day. Judge for yourself: http://s643.photobucket.com/albums/u...champdemo1.flv

I've got three amps in the "under 20W" category that all have great but different voices for the Telecaster -- blackface Champ-Amp, Vox Cambridge Reverb, and 18-watt "Marshall" clone.

I did some work on the Champ recently, after using it as a doorstop for the past decade, so I've been making up for lost time using it as my go-to bedroom amp. It's nicely ratty sounding, and tons of fun to play through.

i like my peavey classic 20 with Weber Alnico speakers. changed up the V2 tube with an ECC803s. Sounds nice, more headroom too.

it can go from blackface-like cleans to tweed tones with the mid-boost engaged. :)

I only have three amps and all of them are small amplifiers. I have a Fender Pro Jr, Vox Pathfinder 15R, and a Pignose. I just love using low wattage amp! I live in an apartment so even if I do lust for bigger cmbo amps or even a head with a cab type amp.. I'll only scratch surface with the volume knob either way. Plus I love the fact these amps are so easy to lug around. Perfect for jams and gigs with small venues. For bigger venues, I stereo my set-up thru the Pro Jr and the Pathfinder:)

Current faves:

67 Princeton Reverb (Weber 10F150T, DR Z Brake Lite attenuator installed)
Homebrew 5E3 clone (Weber 12F125, Brake Lite)

BUT - I just picked up a Swart Space Tone (5 watts) used. It hasn't arrived yet, but I'm excited!

I also have a nice BFDR for gigging, but I always record with the PR or the 5E3.

I've never heard a Swart amp that failed to deliver. Even the tiny ones have greatness.

I just got a Vox AC4 and it sings with my telecaster. I like it even better than my DRRI.

I like to use a BOSS DD-3 to split a signal between a SF 78 VibroChamp and a Little Smokey, nice trashy-yet-balanced tone.

Roland Cube 60. Any smaller than a 12" speaker is too small.

My small amp is my brand-new Blackstar HT-5H into two Blackstar 1x10 cabs. It sounds fantastic... the clean channel is among the best i've heard anywhere.

My "big" amp is a Mesa/Boogie F-30 head into a pair of Thiele 1x12 cabs. (One with a C90 and one with an EVM-12L.)

....today I got a Clark Beaufort that I played my Nocaster through for 4 1/2 hours becuse it sounded so good.

I plan on repeating that all weekend.
