'94 Tweed Pro Junior
I have just purchased this little beauty and it has this Fender 'brown label' speaker in.
![]() What is the opinion on these speakers and how goes it compare to a Celestion G10 Greenback? I play 'Keef' stuff and othe related type of sounds....so not looking for super clean.

How do you like the amp with the original speaker? If you like it then it's good.
However, the general opinion on Pro Jr:s is that a tube and speaker swap enhances the amp's performance greatly. If you want to spend a little dough, get an AlNiCo Weber 10", for example a 10A125. If you e-mail ted weber he is usually very helpful in guiding you to the right model speaker for your desired tone/amp/music style/price range. I have no experience with G10's myself, but a good quality speaker in a Pro Jr should give a smother, less harsh sound than the original speaker.
