princeton reverb ot update

a while back i asked for help to id the ot that was on my sfpr when i got it . number on ot is 021848a. back then no one had an idea what the ot came from .

well ,it seems that it is for a bassman 10 and it,s rated at 50 watts . man that was a big surprise . i always knew it didn,t sound like any other sfpr i had ever heard, clear as a bell all the way to 10, no breakup at all.

i replaced it with a delux ot and it,s been fine ever since. still no real breakup till 8 or 9 but it do sound good .

wounder what it would sound like with the right ot .

thanks to all who tried to help, hope this helps someone else . johnny

INteresting....021848 is the 4 ohm OT for a Bassman 100. My charts show nothing for the BAssman Ten for a model number...just the 4 ohm info. I will pencil it in. Where did you get the info on this one?
Oh, and thanks for the update/info, Johnny.

Holy crap! That's some HEAVY iron for a PR! Might want to fire up a 12" speaker and convert to 6L6's while your at it for a true wolf in sheeps clothing!

the ot they list for the bassman 100 is this number 021657A] . i,ve got a late 70,s bassman70 here that is stock . i,ll dig it out tomorrow and see what it has for an ot . i,ll post the number for it in the morning .

dave , that was the reason i went with the dr ot. i tried 6l6s,s but i liked the 6v6 better.
