Low watt tube amp .....

Is it possible to use an old tube radio as a power source for a low wattage amp?I don't know any particulars about the radio other than it does work.If this is possible,is it something a novice could handle? Thanks for any help.

If I'm not mistaken, Mark Knopfler used to do this...

... when he was a kid! So yes, it is possible. Like JDO says, post your question at AX84.com.
