Fender Amp Service????

The on/off switch on my Champion 600 crapped out. I pulled it out and plugged the output wires from the input transformer directly to the PCB so that I could continue using the amp.

I took the broken switch to the store where I bought the amp and they ordered a replacement.

After about three weeks, they called me and said that Fender states the switch is not a field-serviceable part and they will replace the amp instead.

I had to bring the amp down there and now I am waiting who knows how long for the Fender rep to come by the store....

Does anybody else think this is much ado about nothing??

You'll find out, once the rep has seen your amp.
