Fender Amp Service????
The on/off switch on my Champion 600 crapped out. I pulled it out and plugged the output wires from the input transformer directly to the PCB so that I could continue using the amp.
I took the broken switch to the store where I bought the amp and they ordered a replacement. After about three weeks, they called me and said that Fender states the switch is not a field-serviceable part and they will replace the amp instead. I had to bring the amp down there and now I am waiting who knows how long for the Fender rep to come by the store.... Does anybody else think this is much ado about nothing??
