Thanks, guys!
I have no doubt I made the right choice; the amp is fantastic, and Sara was a pleasure to do business with. Now I have to figure out what else I can sell to get the money together for one of her new Bassman heads! Quote:

Man, I am played out from today! I spent all day playing with the new amp, finally shut it off to have dinner & watch some TV. Before I finish eating, a couple of buddies call & invite me over to jam; Heck, I gotta go so I can see how the 5E3 sounds with other guitars!
When I get there, one guy is playing through a Bogner half-stack, and the other guy is playing through an Orange Rockerverb 50 head & 2x12 cab... they're LOUD, and they're playing "surf metal." Their jaws dropped, though, when I cranked the Richter and hit my first chord; we played for a couple of hours, and the amp held it own just fine. Plus, it was much easier to carry to the car than their rigs! |

The low end on the Tornado is not quite as tight as the regular Neo, but the Tornado is warmer & has a bit of "British flavor" to it; it sounds like a cross between a regular Jensen Neo & a Celestion Blue. So far, I'm very glad I went with it.
