Mods to Vibrolux custom

Does anyone have a link to the Mark Moyer Vibrolux Custom mods?

No problema. I stashed it in my 'faves' for future reference. The CVR is basically thesame circuit as the RI '63 Vibroverb 2X10 with no negative feedback loop, effects on both channels, and a few otherminor things.
MOyer has made it easier than going to the comparison of schematics.

Thanks for the link. Agree with the reverb issue, I have to try the mod. Otherwise I think my amp sounds good but if I open it up I sure will try the other mods too.

Tele52, one thing that makes the CVR so 'hot' is the lack of a negative fb loop. I sometimes modify Fender amps to have a pot in this loop so as to be able to adjust from the stock 820ohm(usually) and say as much as 50K. A nice place seems to be in the 22-27K range. The amp really thickens up and the narmonics get much richer when you get away from the 820 resistor. IF you like to have the BF/SF Fender clean thing but have some heat, also; the pot is a good way to go.

my only thing always with mods, is that i hate reading schematics, or rather i'm not great at it,
but layouts are easy.
i want to do these mods to mine but dont want to ruin the amp trying.

boozer, the link above points out components to change by number. IT appears that one could do it without having to understand a schematic. THe boards in these amps have component numbers printed. You might be able to handle it. IF you do the work 'by the numbers' while studying the schematic, you could learn a bit about schematics that way, also.
