tubes ?

i bought a fender concert amp. it has russian tube in it , along with a groove tube and a fender tube. i have brand new JJ's here. I took it to a guitar store and they tested the old tube and said they were fine. but when should i change the old tubes out for my new ones?

When they start pinging and ringing, indications of their going microphonic...
That's one good indicator.

or just put the new tubes in there and keep the old ones as spares.

you should have your shop RE-BIAS the amp if you change tubes, it's
a minor but important detail that will help to keep your amp running
well for many years as long as you take care of it.
