Epiphone Blues Custom Re-Tubing Advice
I just bought a Blues Custom 30 from Epiphone. It is way to treble/icepick sounding for me.
I really want some warmth. What tubes would you recommend? I really like clean warmth. Thanks. |

FWIW, I retubed mine with late breakup JJ 5881's and Tung Sol 12AT7's in v's 1, 3, & 5. Gave me a lot more warmth, esp. on the 15w setting. YMMV, but it's working for me.
