10" cab for Vibrochamp
Since Allen amps donīt do exports,
My search for a custom 110-cab for a Fender Vibrochamp goes on. First I found this exellent input from mr Rob Distefano: http://www.frettech.com/champ/ Very instructive, but I donīt dare hitting a hammer against my poor SF champ Then found this from Marsh: http://store.marshamps.com/product_i...roducts_id=348 Anyone having tried their 10"-version? Good fit? What you say? Canīt wait to pair the amp with a jensen neo or a ceramic tone tubby

A 10" speaker should fit in the stock cab without any trouble. I had a 10" speaker in my SF Champ, I just trimmed out the stock baffle very carefully so that it looked "factory"... it worked out great. I know Rob D. likes to replace the baffle, and that's a good way to go, too (but much more work if it's glued in!). If I was going to do it again, though, like Hoodster, I'd go with a larger cab to accommodate a 12" (or even a 15") speaker... the single 10" just didn't have enough "thump" for my taste when playing with a band.
