Tube Storage

It occurred to me the other day, that just having my tubes neatly tucked away in my little plastic music boxes might not be the best way to store them. I have a bunch now and i'm curious if there is a definete "best" way to store them. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

The only thing that can really happen is the pins may oxidize a bit. You may want to put them in ziplocks with some of of those silica packs that say, "DO NOT EAT". I've got a thousand+ tubes in unsealed plastic bins with no issues. I keep some of the pricier NOS stuff in ziplocks, but it is to prevent the boxes from getting any worse.

I wouldn't worry to much about them, the NOS tubes we love and cherrish have been sitting in boxes in dusty warehouses and stock rooms for decades, sometimes many warehouses and stockrooms over the years as companies got sold and resold, and resold etc...
