DRRI serial numbers?

Just picked up a used DRRI and trying to determine the production date. It hasn't been as straightforward as with a Tele!

SN is AC030xxx. What I found on the Fender website would suggest that it was made in March of 1990 but my expectation was that it is more likely an early 2000s model.

Thanks!
Rick

I don't recall the DRRI being made in 1990. When did Fender introduce this amp? The Blue Book says that the DRRI came out in 1993. ???
Does the amp have the original speaker? IF so, there is a date code on the edge that will read 67 XXYY....XX being the year code and YY being the week of the year. Are there any dates on the transformers?

I used to have a 1994 DRRI, on the tube chart or on the quality assurance sticker it had a stamped code of EJ E being 1994, F=95, etc. the J is for October. So look for a stamped code like dat. I think 95 was the first year of production. I 'm not sure but they may have only did the codes for 5 years until 2000 (?).
