I recently got out my Echoplex and in my feeble attempt at maintenance sparks flew

it now blows the fuse and smokes on power up. I hit the reset and turn it on and instant puff o'smoke. Where do I start?
....Or since I may be out my league here anyone have any experience with these guys for repair?
This guy is Mike Battles grandson I think.

I seem to recall there was a fellow who was re-building old Echoplexes
but I don't recall his name - he was an older gent so he could well have
passed on by now as well..

If the guy worked with Mr. Battle I'd go with him.
Mr. Battle worked on several Echoplexes for me. He recently passed. A very nice guy and proud of his Echoplexes.
