Vox Black Diamond
Seems Vox are launching a successor to the "blue" Valvetronix series.

I just stumbled upon that news meself.
I hope it's at least just as good or better than the VALVETRONIX series. Anyone see one up close or play one yet? At 200 watts, it's a bit OVERKILL imho. Hope they put out a 50 watter 2 X 12 soon.

I have problems with amps with only one knob! HAHA
I'm afraid HAL will ask what I'm doing everytime I'm about to power it down :) Most Valvetronix users seem to be huge fans of the amp... if I had any space left in my amp room it'd probably be the modeling amp I'd try first. Plus it looks stealth bomber and cool. |

Oh man!!! These look great. I gigged a AD60VT for a few years (and really miss it). Maybe some folk will upgrade and flood the used market with old AD60s and AD120s! Either way, I win!!!
I need a bigger pic of the control panel to see if they fixed my big problem: The knobs all have a physical pointer (so you know if it's set to 10:00 or 1:00). But when you go to the presets, every knob is set to the preset setting, REGARDLESS OF WHERE THE PHYSICAL KNOB POINTS. So, you have no idea what's set where. So, the physical knob may point to 3:00, but the preset value may be very different. If you touch the knob, it overrides the preset and jumps immediately to the physical setting, which many be a HUGE jump! A bit frustrating. The Behringer V-amp modeler, for example, has knobs with LEDs around them. The LED of the setting is lit, and when a new preset is selected, the LEDs change to the new setting! GENIUS! ![]() I'm tempted to get a V-amp for this reason alone!
