Check out my JTM45 custom, my new baby!

Thought I should finally post some pics of my assembly project,

I picked up the cab second hand, loaded with a Celestion Greenback and a V30.

It's made by a local builder here in Perth, I've heard a tweed twin he made, very tasty.

The amp is a stock Ceriatone JTM45, but squashed to suit the 14.5" opening and turned upside down so the OT and PT transformers sit closer to the middle.

Nik was a pleasure to deal with, went out of his way to design and redesign the chassis layout to suit, and answer my 60 or so emails!

The faceplates were custom made at Amplates.

And what does it sound like? Unbeleivable, everyone should own one!

It sounds great running alongside my Vibroclone, the best of both worlds really

Cheers,

Brad

Wow.., that's a great job. Really beautiful...and there's nothing like a JTM45 through Celestions.

I'm envious.

How do you like the V30/Greenback combo?

I have seen on the avatar speaker site that they suggest that combination of speakers.

Very trippy panel... unique for sure.

You have amp feet on the back of the amp... do you play it laid down on it's back?

I like it, it looks cool. Congrats!

Sounds great to me, I don't hear any of the problems usually associated with running greenbacks in an open cab.

That's for when I fall over drunk, I can still hear it ;)
I transport it in my car on it's back, I ve had it fall over once when it sits up as per normal.

Thanks for the nice comments guys.

Cheers,

Brad

It's a sin to post a picture that sweet without a sound clip.
