Alnico VS. Ceramic
For years I've heard people say that Alnico magnets are better than ceramics in guitar applications, but nobody has ever given me a definitive answer as to why.
Just what is the difference? Is it enough of a difference to justify the considerable cost difference between comparable ceramic and alnico speakers? Thanks. |

That decision would best be made by you with consideration given to the guitar, the rest of the amp and what sound you were going for. For a good understandable comparison of the two types of magnets, go here: http://www.webervst.com/sptalk.html
