Need Help With a Tube Adapter

Is there any kind of adapter that would enable me to use a 6V6 in place of an EL84?

I have never seen one. FWIW, there would not be a great deal of difference in the sonics between the two tubes. The circuit dictates much of what happens, and those two tubes may have more similarities than differences.

It's possible to build one, but there are logistical problems too. The weight of the 6V6 tube plus the adaptor means you won't want to use it in an amp that hangs the tubes upside-down, unless you add those cap-with-springs retainers.
