Vox AC30 CC1 help/opinions
hey
Im just wondering, what are ur guys thoughts on a Celestion Gold in my CC1. Is is really worth the CASH and the hassle, i live in South Africa and they're hard to come by. Thanks |

I've done that to mine, and I know several others who have. If you love the sound of your amp now, leave it. If you think the Neodog speaker sounds a bit cold and harsh and doesn't have the shimmering magic and three-dimensionality that is the 'normal' Vox tone through Celestion Blues, the Celestion Gold gives you pretty much that same tone as the Blues but in a 1x12 package. It does take a long time to break in, it'll warm up and sound more open after about 50-100 hours of loud playing.
