Adding A Channel To VCXD?

Would it be possible to add a second channel to the VCXD the way the SCXD has? Would it be a simple mod or too risky to mess something up? I am good as long as I have clear directions in front of me. I also would like to put an AUX IN jack as well.

Thanks

No chance of a second channel on the VCXD. You could get a Super Champ XD and put the single-ended back end on it. Anything else would be insane. Of course, you can always use a pedal.

I came up with an aux in for the SCXD, but haven't examined the VCXD to see if the same circuit would work. If it did work, you could use a pedal and an ABY to give you two channels. But a Super Champ would be a much easier solution.

Thanks Bill...I figured that. I thought if it was just some simple wiring I wouldn't have to buy the SCXD...I don't need the 2nd channel it was just an idea that popped into my head!

Thanks

I'd just spend the extra $20 or so dollars and buy the Super Champ instead. In fact, I am about to do just that very soon after deciding I didn't want to buy a Champ 600 only to mod it with some of the notable after market upgrades.

Thanks Dennis...however I already have the VCXD and thought I could make an easy mod to it. If I get a 15 watt amp I am going with the Blues Jr. Played one over the weekend and love the sound.
