Axial Electrolytics

Hi there, does anyone know, what the difference is, between Axial Electrolytic Capacitors and Electrolytic Capacitors?
Cheers.

There's axial electrolytics and Radial Electrolytics.

Axials have one pin each sides and radials have them beneath. They are the same values just different format...

No difference.

As jcayer said though, there is a difference between "axial" and "radial."

Electrolytics are electrolytics... the axial or radial refers to the leads on the electrolytic cap.

Then, to confuse things more, there are cap-can electrolytics... and clamp mounted multisection electrolytics...
