is this anything worthwhile?

Just curious...I realize it wasn't high end at the time but it might be cool now.

As long as it's one of the amps that has a power transformer I would assume that it would be pretty cool, and you can probably snag it for less than the $200 asking price. That's no more than a new Champion 600 and it might be made with better stuff.

still a good deal at $200 as long as it works OK and it doesn't need a cap job and a set of new tubes..

if it filled a need of mine, i'd buy it now. looks like a diamond in the rough to me. i've got an ugly 1960 Epiphone that grunts like a pig and bleats like a goat. those funky old circuits are a whole lot of fun.

YES. Yes. Yes.

$200 for an old tube amp... try to go lower if possible.

Airlines were real sleepers. They're often very "tweed" and have low output cathode biased power sections... without the vintage price tag of a Fender or Gibson.

I believe the MW Airlines were made by Valco, who made Supro, National, and Gretsch amps as well.

Check for original speaker, tubes, and caps if possible before buying it. Either way, it's still a good value.

Get her recapped and you'll still be sitting cheaper than most new reissues!

I believe the Airlines are beginning to take off in value. Grab a good one while you can. The prices are only goin' up. Apart from that, they are pretty decent sounding amps.
