Help with DeVille ID
Hey guys, looking at this amp, need help figuring out what it is. I assume it is a standard production model HRDeville 212.
Seller is convinced it is a special or limited edition model. He refers to it as a FAT model. I don't think he is trying to scam anyone, just not sure where his info came from, possibly the salesman when he bought it. Can anyone help? |

FAT means 'Fender American Tube,' that's all. That's what they (used) to call the blues/hr series. It may be an older model made in the US instead of Mexico. No advantage to that, and maybe a disadvantage if some of the HotRod diseases have set in. Check the date on the inspection sticker on the right inside wall. Don't pay extra because it's 'FAT.'
