MOSValve 100 amp
There is a MOSValve 100 SS amp at a local store. Yellow lettering and grey carpet covering with 1 - 12" OEM spkr. I remember seeing one of these a couple of decades ago. Anyone know anything about them? They want $250. Buy or pass?
Thanks. |

Geez, I'd rather save the money and use it to buy a used Blues Junior, SF Champ or SF MusicMaster Bass.....much more fun to play.... and they still get pretty loud.
That being said, back in the day, the combination of a MOSVALVE power amp and the REALTUBE tube preamp was a hot setup. |

did it look like this?
if so, it's a deal at $250. you won't get sparkly fender tones out of it but it's good and loud. nice clean channel. it has a 12ax7 in the pre-amp. i used this one for almost 10 years and just retired it to back up status. i use the clean channel with the pre gain up to about 10 0r 11 o'clock so the signal is just starting to break up. then kick it over the edge for solos with a clean boost.
