Anyone try the Carvin tweed 2x12 cab?
This one right here: https://www.carvinguitars.com/produc...p?product=212E
Seems to be well priced for what it is. If I recall correctly, the Carvin speakers are rebranded Eminence. I've been noodling around looking for 2x12's and this seems to be well priced compared to the offerings on Musicians Friend or even Avatar/Lopo. Any thoughts? Thanks! |

it's not a bad cab, pretty much as strattoad said..
the plastic tweed is just about the worst thing about 'em. Avatars are better, IMO, but I wouldn't turn down a Carvin 2x12" as I already own their 1x12" and 4x10" cabs and am well-pleased with 'em. the Carvin Vintage speaker is indeed manufactured for Carvin by Eminence, I like 'em OK but have heard better.. they do mix well with other speakers!
