Kingsley Amps

Does anyone here own one or maybe has played one at length. If so, impressions? I'm looking in particular at the Baron and the Deluxe 32. Thanks...........

Actually, he's my neighbour so I get to hear all of his amps but way out of my price range. You might want to try the Gear Page as I've seen alot of talk about his amps there. http://thegearpage.net/board/forumdisplay.php?f=3

I serviced a single 12 combo a few years back and was very impressed on every level with the amp. I think it might have been called a Royal? Anyway, it was the only guitar amp I know of that uses Solen non-polar filter caps.

I've had the pleasure of hearing his amps live and being played by the man himself. Quite a good guitarist I might add. His amp sounded devine. Simon was coaxing a lot of different tones out of it.

He did some amp repairs for me and I had the opportunity of hearing his passion for good tone. Quite the gentleman.

My next amp will be one of his for certain.

I've talked with Simon a number of times and IF I weren't building my own fantastic amps he would be the first person I'd be calling.

Kingsley amps

I've known Simon for years. Man he makes great amps.

I've only tried 3 of his Kingsley's, they we're all really good. Quite different too. He can tweak them anyway you want.

I just tested his new tube overdrive pedal...Wow! can't wait to try it again. Its going to be expensive, but worth it.
