pro jr speaker upgrade

Hello, my question is I built an larger cab for my pro jr amp and a buddy of mine has an vintage 30 and a H30 one is 60watts and the other is 30watts
But they are 16ohm speakers, how much volume loss am i going to get if I use
one of these,and will it hurt the amp any going from 8 to 16 ohm,he is wanting to work out a trade for one of my pedals i dont use anymore but I'am not sure i want to use a 16ohm for lack of volume or tone it may effect.
anyone done this ? if so let me know how it worked.

if your not set on getting the Celstion, take a look at the Weber 12" California, and the Eminence redcoat. Both sound really nice in these amps, plus you will notice an increase in head room.

Will going to 16ohm give me more clean headroom and lower wattage?

Going to 16 ohms may kill a few highs, may drop the output by a decibel or so, and won't affect clean headroom to any noticeable degree.

In other words, almost no effect.
