Torres Tone King Again

I hate to bring this up but I got mine in on Tuesday and it sounds killer! I know some on this forum will not believe that but it's true. I've played through a lot of amps and I have to say this is one of the best I've played. Power tubes=EL34 solid state rectifier(I took out the 5AR4 because I like the tight low end and punch better) 5AY7 driver tube 5AY7 input tube(may try a 5751 later) class A 35 watts That's what it says. Really does sound wonderful! The reverb sounds incredible too. Has a dwell control. 12" Reverend speaker Blonde Tolex with oxblood grille

5AY7?? What is that?

35 Watts "class A"??? How much you want to be that it's not really class A?

Torres strikes again.

Don't be apologetic about posting about your new amp! Share it Loud n' Proud! Great to hear you're diggin' your new TORRES amp. Is this the Super Texan 35 watt model? Looks sharp:

I have 4 cathode bias amps including a "Class A" amp and a true Class A amp (Vibro Champ) and they all have JUICY TONE!

Feel free to tell us more about the cab (black? blond? Tolex, tweed?), the speaker(s), the reverb, the tone!

It's all about the JUICE!

Is there a story on Torres?

Not looking for anyone to talk trash, but I'm curious what they're rep is. The amps look good on their web site. But you can't tell much from a picture, can you?

FYI, I just bought some pickups and tone circuit from 'em. The price seemed right - compared to what else I was finding out there, and they turned it around quick quick quick. What I got is what I expected - good components, good solder joints. Mr. Torres was very helpful and patient when I asked him to fill me on the specs of the setup on the phone. And the LOL (Mom?) was sweet as could be on the shipping, credit card, etc. part.
