Vintage Jensen Speaker
Hi guys,
does anybody know the power rating of vintage Jensen speakers (alnico), from the late fiftees to the early sixties ? The speaker I do have in mind in particular is a P12P (which does not seem to be used in Fender amps) and P12N. Best regards Olaf

Olaf, somewhere I have that info sheet on those wattage ratings...but right now I can't remember where it is. IIRC, the 'N' was a 25-30 watt speaker and the 'Q' was a 18-20 watt speaker. The 'P' would be in between??? I'll try and find the info to either confirm or correct my memory.

I have a couple of 1966 Jensen C10N's that are confirmed 8-ohm drivers. They were originally wired in series in an old Kalamazoo Bass 50 amp to provide a 16-ohm load to the 50-watt power section.
