12AU7 Made in Holland

Picked up a box on the side of the road today with about 20 of these in it.(also a couple of Tun-Sol 12AX7's!) What are they used for and who would be the manufacturer? Oh yea, and a couple NIB RCA 12AT7's!

Made in Holland? Probably Amperex or Phillips.

Those are used in stereos, and some guitar amps.

The real prizes are the Tung Sol 12AX7s and the RCA 12AT7s.

I have a 50's Gibson GA30 amp that uses those as a phase inverter. I have a GE 12au7a/6680 tube that I like in my tweed deluxe clone instead of a 12ay7, it cleans up the breakup for solos.

Yes, I did just find one that says Amperex.

I also found some 12AX7's that say made in Holland and are stamped "Electronics For Medicine"--wish I had a digital camera so I could post some pictures.
