Yes! Ben's a great guy and makes an excellent amp. I have an older Fargen Epic (EL34, 2x10, green tolex w/cream faceplate). Excellent Brit/Vox sounding amp.

Can anybody comment about his mini-Plexi or whatever it's called?

Cheers,
Geoff

So now when you bring one home, does someone say "Another Fargen amp!"?

I have an early version. It is pretty much what is claimed, a low power Plexi. Love mine. Have used for small gigs. Sounds particarly great with my Strats, but decent with most of my teles (oddly never sounds right with my American Deluxe with the Scn pickups though...never figured out why). Anyway, I run mind though an Avatar 2x12 with a Vintage 30 and a G12H30 combination in an open back cabinet. I know that Marshalls are supposed to sound better with a sealed cab, but this still sounds great.

This amp has also sounded great (but not quite as good) through a cheap second hand marshall 1x12 open back cab that I got years ago.

Cool little amp. Oh, and by the way, Ben was great to talk to when I thought I had a problem with the amp a few years back. Good feel for customers.
