OK, just want to say again to everyone. THANK YOU
I've posted on some other forums where my post has either been treated as spam (i see their point), or where posters have thrown abuse for no reason. This forum has been by far the friendliest! I appreciate that some may feel the survey is poorly designed, but it meets my needs as I'm using it in conjunction with qualitative research, market statistics, and social trends. however, i know my survey isn't perfect (if i were to do it again, i would have changed a few things). as for no head... I felt that if you owned a head, you probably have a speaker cabinet which is why i listed it as half/full stack (though i realize some may have cabs in configuration which are neither).

Ivan a lot of us may use a head because we can run a lot of different cabs from a 1x12 to a full stack and all things inbetween. I have a 2x12 cab now that I am going to make into a switchable 4 ohm one way and 16 ohm the other by the flick of a switch so basically one cab is actually two. That is why I mentioned a head as a separate issue as some heads can be switchable from 4, 8 and 16 ohms to run many cabs. In my case my switchable cab is because one head I have is 4 ohms and one that I am building now is 8 and 16. since a 2x12 cab can only be 4 or 16 with both speakers working that is why I am making a switchable one. I suppose I could get really fancy and cut one speaker out to make a 8 ohm load too but I have other speakers for a 8 ohm cab if I want that. which is nice with a head gives ya more variety if the head has more than one impedance tap on the OT. |

That was a scientific poll? I thought I was getting a magazine subscription to "How to sucker people into buying anything!".
Joking aside, I hope you can share the end results with us all when its done.

Done did it....
No stacks and half stacks here though. Either combos or heads and 2x12 cab. ... and "Krank"??? Is there still an amp called "Krank"??? I just found that amusing to see while so many others weren't mentioned.
