TRRI speaker impedence
You all been a motherload of info, here's another question.
I have a 2005 TRRI custom 15. Back panel has internal & external speaker jacks, parallel speaker jacks, 85 watts, 4 ohm total. I ordered a motion sound SRV-212 rotary speaker 4 ohm. Can I unplug 15 inch cab speaker of TRRI (which is a 4 ohm speaker) and plug 4 ohm rotary speaker cabinet into internal speaker jack without any problems? There was something in the 6 page manual about needing a load I think they meant. I don't see the difference between 4 ohm loads but figured better ask first. I use a 35 Cowtipper head&cab as main amp. I want to work towards stereo set up. Maybe use the rotary as third amp/cab on one side. Will the difference between 35 & 85 watts detract from what I'm trying to achieve? |
