Differences between Blues Jr. NOS tweed and new Blues Jr. tweed

I just noticed that Musician's Friend has a 'new' item listing, a Blues Jr. in tweed. It seems to be the exact same amp as the 'NOS' limited edtion ones there are still selling but without the little Limited Edition name plate on the back. They are also about $50 cheaper. Anyone know if there is any difference between these two amps?

The Ltd has a Jensen speaker, the new one has the same Fender Special Design speaker as the black BJr.

Many players like the Special Design (Eminence) speaker better than the Jensen.

I tell you what, I had a Weber California Series in my HR Deluxe several years ago. I loved that combination and felt that it was far superior to the stock speaker. I got the heads up on the Weber here on the TDPRI. It wasn't that the Special Design sounded bad, but I felt that there MUST be something better out there and I NEEDED IT! I ended up selling that amp to a friend to a friend in need.

I now have a bone stock HR Deluxe that I've been using for the last couple of years and it sounds fabulous. I originally planned to change out the speaker to a Weber, but I waited a little longer this time and it sounds so dang good I'm not going to bother. I'm very impressed with the Special Design speaker. My 52RI straight into the HR Deluxe on about 5-6 just sounds GREAT!

This is kind of interesting.

Fender has offered, in the past, a Tweed Blues Jr. before. It’s sold as a limited run then disappears. Then it appears again. (They do this with other products too.)

They also sell a Blonde Jr which seems to be a GC/MFriend-only kind of thing.
Now the Blonde says “Limited Quantity.” So maybe it is being replaced by the “new” Tweed?

Also, there is a “Hot Rod Series” Junior and a Junior “NOS.” All four, by the way, (including the original blue/black) are all the same price $480.00.

I have the Special Design Eminence in my 5E3 clone right now and it's sounds good. The SD Eminence was out of my stock BJ which sounded terrible in that amp to my ears.I ended up with a V-30 clone in the BJ which sounds great to me. Had I not changed spkrs. in the BJ it would have been sold on E-bay by now.
